Believe it or not, guys are really attracted to the smells of vanilla and cinnamon. It's a biological thing. If you don't have any vanilla scented perfume try dabbing a little vanilla extract behind your ears or at the back of your neck ... It sounds corny but it's true.

That's an unusual combination of scents...Maybe CK eternity summer mixed with a vanilla perfume oil. Those should go together as long as the vanilla is not too sugary sweet.


I have heard of Demeter salt air, I loved it when I smelled it. It's like the ocean. Ralph lauren blue is like a vacation by the sea. Cool water does have that sort of feel, but to me you cannot smell the vanilla and it's been too popular to stand out


as something unique. Tangy vanilla is vanilla with a light touch of citrus. Try lime like the way burberry brit is mixed.
Why don't you mix 2 together to get that scent..





if you for to the body shop they have vanilla perfume oil..and one that smells like the ocean..(Oceanus)...you could always toss a nice citrus smell into the vanilla oil, to get the tangyness you want.


You can mix and blend all the scents there.

you can try perfume oils. try the one called summer breeze. or you can try different stuff and get the one called french vanilla. then mix them up until you get the smell you want. I buy my perfume oils from ';Silky Scents';. You can google their name to find them online.
I dont know how about vanilla and ocean. Sounds like an interesting scent, but I know Demeter carries Ocean. I heard it smells quite fresh. I don' t own it, so I can't tell you but I do own Thunderstorm and I love it!! smells very fresh... like the calm before a storm kinda and wet grass.. lol sounds weird but it's great %26amp; lasts a long time- check it out!

How about vanilla extract. Cheaper than any perfume and has a pure vanilla smell. Women in the past used this, during times when money wasn't so expendable. Same with other natural scents such as nuts, fruits or flower oils (available at most natural food stores).
Try Vanilla Fields, can get at any drugstore fairly cheap and smells great.

Could anyone reccomend some long lasting vanilla perfumes?

I wear a perfume from wal mart thats called cherry vanilla. It's in a red box. It lasts a long time and I love the smell. I wear it all the time! All during the day at work customers are always saying they love my perfume ( women and men) and want to know what it is. This would be all day without a touch up! One I like that is all vanilla is coty's vanilla musk. I guess they still make it. I found out years ago that I am allergic to perfumes, lotions and soaps that are plain vanilla. But I can wear the cherry vanilla and I love it!

Alicia's perfume is Thierry Mugler Angel, and it's actually really strong, I think it's gross- it's hard to smell the Vanilla in it -but that's just me, maybe you'd like it.

Gap body eau de toilette in ';lavender tea';, smells just like lavender and vanilla. I got mine on sale at TJ maxx for $15, but they sell for $28 at the mall.
Well it's not a perfume, but I have a lavander vanilla body spray and it's called body fantasies. I got it at walmart for $2.99, but they have it at target too. Btw it's not one of those really bad brands, I mean obviously it's not a real perfume but it's a reputable body spray brand and i've never gotten any allergic reactions to it.

Demeter scents (perfume) birthday cake or vanilla cake batter?

I have just recently discovered Demeter scents. AMAZING! They smell so realistic. I am looking for warm buttery sweet smells and didn't know wether to go wtih birthday cake or vanilla cake batter. The reviews are pretty evenly matched. I also am getting sugar cookie, and was considering choc. chip cookie, pumpkin pie, marshmallow, graham cracker, condensed milk and tiramisu.
